We are looking for a dedicated IT On-Site Support Engineer to provide second-line workplace management support to end-users. You will play a key role in troubleshooting IT-related issues, coordinating projects, and collaborating with internal IT teams to ensure smooth IT operations. key responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line support via the Efecte ITSM tool, with occasional 1st line support as needed.
- Coordinate and plan projects and tasks for on-site support at specific locations.
- Work closely with Business IT SBU Nordic to ensure operational efficiency.
Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues related to networks, equipment, and software. You will handle administrative tasks in Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, and Azure, while also participating in both IT and business-related projects where IT expertise is required. Effective communication with customers and colleagues is crucial, along with contributing to process improvements in incident, request, and knowledge management. This role also includes documenting relevant processes and providing on-site user support, which requires travel when needed.
qualifications & experience
- Experience working in a Microsoft Windows server environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (certification is a plus).
- Experience with software distribution applications.
Furthermore, familiarity with field engineering systems and processes is expected, along with proficiency in remote system access solutions. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, strong PC repair and troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers and switches, are also required. Experience in Microsoft 365 administration and Azure, along with a few years of experience handling on-site IT support activities, will be valuable in this role.
