On behalf of Norlys, we are seeking a dedicated Monitoring Specialist who will work with the latest technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building and operating Norlys’ IT monitoring platform and other similar systems within the same area of responsibility.
The ideal candidate will join a team in Norlys’ IT Shared Service Center that is currently focused on improving the current Norlys monitoring platform, as well as securing the transition of all the monitoring systems from Telia Denmark to Norlys. You will manage, build and develop the best possible monitoring platform for Norlys going forward.

- Operating and developing the IT monitoring platforms (Zabbix and others)
- Operating and developing Linux-based systems/technologies
- Implementing new features and improvements to the IT monitoring platform
- Interdisciplinary collaboration across Norlys
Your main workplace will be in Aarhus.

As Norlys' next Monitoring Specialist, it is important that you already have experience in the implementation and operation of monitoring platforms and have deep knowledge of enterprise operating environments consisting of 80% Linux-based systems.
Therefore, it is important that you have several years of relevant work experience and equivalent education. At the same time, you have a good overview and a structured work process, and you always take responsibility for your area of expertise. You are self-driven and process-conscious, which enables you to always take responsibility for your areas of expertise, and it is important that you have a sense of cooperation and sparring with colleagues or business partners.
we hope you have:
- Knowledge in different operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Experience with both enterprise and open source solutions
- Building full-stack monitoring solutions
- Monitoring platforms like Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Datadog, SL1 and others.
- Building and operating 24/7 environments with high availability
- Setting up solutions on Linux and Windows
- Scripting: Powershell, Perl, Python, Go and Ansible
- Automation
As a person, you are independent, tenacious and quality-conscious. You are motivated by completing tasks in the right way.
