about the role
As a Proposal Manager at GomSpace, you will play an important role in acquiring and shaping commercial satellite projects. Working within the Sales team, and collaborating with many internal stakeholders, you will take full ownership of the proposal process, ensuring that the submissions are compelling and compliant. From leading cross-functional bid teams to refining meticulous details, you will be a key member in the GomSpace mission to deliver cutting-edge satellite solutions to customers worldwide.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Sales Manager to evaluate incoming customer requirements and assist on capture plans for Bid/NoBid decisions. You will coordinate and collect both commercial and technical input from various internal contributors, ensuring both clarification in the material and alignment with project objectives and business strategy. In doing so, you become a key player in ensuring the quality of the final proposals before submission.
key tasks
• Manage proposal teams to prepare and deliver winning proposals
• Coordinate the full proposal process, leading and/or contributing to all bid meetings
• Prepare comprehensive proposals documents by integrating inputs from bid teams
• Proofread proposals to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Maintain and enhance proposal templates, processes, and reference materials
You will work from the GomSpace headquarters in Aalborg.
Additionally, you will get the chance to represent GomSpace at relevant conferences and customer meetings.

We are looking for you with proven experience in sales or proposal coordination within an international sales environment. Your ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across teams will be key elements in this position. Ultimately, we are looking for an ability and proven record of leading a cross function proposal team to create results and make winning proposals.

• Experience in sales and proposal management
• A strong skillset in networking, coordination and communication
• A strategic mindset and good business understanding
• Leadership skills to push and motivate a proposal/bid team
• An ability to understand stakeholders input to develop proposal material
• Strong language skills, being fluent in both written and spoken English
• Experience with engineering and project management are beneficial, but not required
• Experience with AI assisted tools for proposal management is a plus, but not required
