As a Sales Application Engineer, you will take on a key role in spearheading the growth and development of the Danish region with a specific focus on your technical expertise and demonstrating a range of high-quality products.
With direct reporting to the Director of Sales for the region, you are responsible for building and developing the Danish market. Leveraging your knowledge of the local market, you will navigate its nuances to ensure prompt and efficient customer engagement following inquiries.
This dynamic role encompasses demonstrations and you will be the technical expert across the entire Danish region. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting existing dealers in the market.
With previous technical experience and an interest in commercial excellence, this is a unique opportunity for you to utilize your knowledge of technical support at the highest level when making your mark in a leading global organization within metrology.
Your primary tasks include:
• Relationship management and new business development through customer visits
• Visiting customers and representing Mitutoyo when performing demonstrations nationwide
• Continuous project guidance and analysis of the market dynamics to adapt strategies for optimal results
• Utilizing your market expertise to swiftly respond to customer inquiries, ensuring a rapid and effective customer engagement process
• Developing and implementing comprehensive strategies and demonstration presentations aligned with market trends and business objectives
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive collaboration and achieve common goals
what do you bring?
Preferably, the ideal candidate has a relevant technical background with a commercial acumen. You have previous experience within the technical field, e.g. as a Sales Engineer or Quality Engineer, preferably within the industry of automated solutions, metals, chemical or metrology. You shine when reaching the set targets and are able to establish trusting as well as loyal customer relations in a professional manner. You thrive in an independent role working remotely from your home office.
In addition, you offer:
• Technical expertise within high-quality products
• Solid communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and a good level of Danish
• Knowledge of the Danish market and its dynamics
• An ability to independently navigate the market and drive business growth
• Proven track record of appointing and managing successful dealer relationships
• Willingness to travel within the Danish region as needed and quarterly to the headquarters in the Netherlands
