about the role
On behalf of Everway, we are looking for a results-driven and forward-thinking VP of Acquisition to lead and scale their Nordic sales organisation within the workplace SaaS sector.
Everway offers innovative technology developed for the education and workplace sectors, designed to make it easier for their users to learn, understand, and communicate through digital learning and accessibility tools. This is a high-impact role and an exciting opportunity to shape and execute a winning sales strategy, while building a strong-performing team across the Nordics (DK, SE & NO).
key responsibilities
This role is not just about leading – it’s about contributing, building, inspiring, and executing. As a playing coach, you will not only set the strategic direction but also actively engage in key sales opportunities, supporting and motivating your team by leading from the front.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Creating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth
• Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing sales team (SDRs and New Business Development Managers) while fostering a performance-driven culture with clear accountability and coaching
• Developing and implementing a scalable go-to-market strategy for the Nordics
• Defining and refining value propositions to ensure alignment with market needs
• Managing revenue and pipeline, including owning and driving the entire sales process from lead generation to closing, while directly supporting pipeline generation
• Establishing clear KPIs, sales playbooks, and best practices to standardise the sales process and drive predictable growth
• Expanding existing accounts and driving new business acquisition, including identifying and pursuing new verticals, partnerships, and market opportunities
• Collaborating with Marketing and Customer Success teams to refine messaging, develop campaigns and event strategies to grow the pipeline, and ensure strong retention
the ideal candidate
We are looking for a proven leader with at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the SaaS industry, and a strong track record of building, scaling and motivating high-performance sales teams. You possess a deep understanding of the Nordic market, including regional buying behavior and procurement processes, enabling you to successfully expand into new industries and segments.
Additionally, you bring the following qualifications:
• Strong P&L responsibility and revenue forecasting experience
• Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
• Experience in the enterprise and public sector HR market, productivity or B2B SaaS sector
• Proficiency in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce and HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making
• Fluency in English and (at least) one of the Scandinavian languages
You have an outgoing, charismatic, and credible personality, and combined with your commercial and analytical acumen, you master being put on a stage, persuading your audience with storytelling that speaks directly to your customers’ needs and wants.
